PT-50P 5056A E1 channel protection switching equipment is a standard 19-inch 5U high subrack, using a plug-in card structure, with a total of 17 board slots, including 2 power board slots, 7 pairs of E1 protection unit slots, 1 main control slot, and can provide a maximum of 56 E1 channel protection capabilities.

· High integration: The maximum protected channel of the E1 interface of a single device is 56.
· High reliability: Dual power boards are redundantly backed up, and all boards are hot-swappable. Each pair of protection units works independently of each other, and faults do not affect each other.
· Lossless switching:
E1 is in framed and non-framed mode, and it switches automatically without damage
The device supports automatic switching or manual forced switching.
In the framing state, the switching conditions have the following priorities: LOS (Signal Loss> FA (Frame Out-of-Step>), AIS (All 1 Alarm> MFA (Multi-frame Out-of-Step), > 10-3 Errors> 10-6 Errors.
The switching conditions in the non-framed state are as follows: LOS and AIS
· Power-down maintenance: The device always remembers the working status of the E1 protection channel, and the protected channel automatically remains in the current protection channel when the device power is lost.
· Maintenance Maintains:
Each protection unit is composed of "E1 switching board" and "channel retention board", both types of boards can work independently, when we need to plug and replace the "E1 switching board" or "channel retention card" for equipment maintenance, it will not cause business interruption, we call it "maintenance and holding".
· Complete network management functions
Through the network management software system platform, multiple devices can be managed locally or off-site in the Ethernet network at the same time, and 10M/100M network interface networking is used. It can also be used to configure the device through the RS232 network management interface on the panel with a ruggedized LCD handheld terminal.
· Multi-link delay synchronization function
Through the network management, a single module can realize the binding of 2-way, 4-way, and 8-way 2M links, and use digital synchronization technology to align the delay of the bundled multi-link, so as to solve the problems of image distortion and network communication data loss caused by different delay in different channel transmission.
